Cove ("Cove," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Accessible Intelligence LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Cove, an AI-powered text messaging service accessible via SMS and iMessage.
By texting Cove, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the service and text STOP to opt out.
This Privacy Policy is not a contract and does not create any legal rights or obligations not otherwise provided by law.
Cove is an artificial intelligence assistant that communicates with you through text messages. You are communicating with an AI, not a human. Cove uses large language models to generate responses to your messages.
When you use Cove, we collect the following categories of information:
Information you provide directly. Your phone number (received automatically when you text us), your name (when you share it during setup), and the content of your text messages, including any personal details you choose to share in conversation.
Information we generate. Memory facts derived from your conversations (such as your preferences, location, or interests), your timezone, and reminders you ask us to set.
Information collected automatically. Timestamps of your messages, message counts, and basic usage data necessary to operate the service.
Inferences. We may generate inferences or predictions about your interests and preferences based on the information we collect and the interactions we have with you, in order to personalize the service.
Sources of information. We collect information directly from you (via your text messages), from your device and carrier (phone number, message metadata), and from our AI service providers (AI-generated memory facts and inferences derived from your conversations).
We use your information for the following purposes:
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cove uses artificial intelligence to generate all responses and to maintain memory of your preferences and past conversations. This processing is automated and does not produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. Cove's responses are informational only and do not constitute professional advice or binding decisions. If you have concerns about automated processing of your information, contact hello@textcove.co.
To operate Cove, we share certain data with the following service providers, each of whom is contractually obligated to process your data only for the purposes of providing their services to us:
Anthropic. Your messages and conversation history are sent to Anthropic's API to generate AI responses. Anthropic is a service provider under applicable privacy laws and does not use your data for its own purposes. We use Anthropic's API, which does not use your inputs to train their models. Anthropic processes this data according to their own privacy policy and data usage terms.
Linq. Your phone number and messages are transmitted through the Linq messaging platform to deliver texts between you and Cove. Linq is a service provider under applicable privacy laws. Linq processes this data according to their own privacy policy.
Hosting provider. Our servers are hosted on cloud infrastructure where your data is stored and processed. Our hosting provider is a service provider under applicable privacy laws. We use reasonable security measures to protect your data in transit and at rest.
We may also disclose your personal information to third parties in the following circumstances: (a) to comply with applicable law, legal process, or lawful government requests; (b) to enforce our Terms of Use and protect against misuse; (c) to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; (d) to protect the rights, property, or safety of Accessible Intelligence LLC, our users, or the public; or (e) in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case your personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
Your text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding messaging platform providers necessary to deliver the service.
Other than the service providers and circumstances described above, we do not share your personal information with third parties.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active, which we define as the period during which you are sending messages to Cove. If you text STOP, we suppress your number from future messaging but retain your data until you request deletion. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove it within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Opt out of messaging. Text STOP, CANCEL, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT at any time to stop receiving all messages from Cove, including reminders. We will send a single confirmation message and suppress your number from future messages.
Request your data. You can request a copy of the information we have stored about you by contacting us at hello@textcove.co. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 calendar days.
Request deletion. You can request that we delete all of your data, including your conversation history, memory facts, and reminders, by contacting us at hello@textcove.co. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Correct your information. You can ask Cove to update or correct any memory facts at any time during conversation (for example, "forget that I live in Denver" or "actually my name is spelled differently"). You may also submit a correction request to hello@textcove.co.
Authorized agents. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf. We may require verification of the agent's authorization before processing the request.
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
Right to Know. You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the business or commercial purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
Right to Delete. You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions (such as if the data is needed to complete a transaction, detect fraud, or comply with a legal obligation).
Right to Correct. You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. We only use sensitive personal information (such as the content of your text messages) as necessary to provide the Cove service. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. We will not deny you the service, charge you different prices, provide a different quality of service, or suggest you will receive different treatment for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@textcove.co. We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 calendar days (which may be extended by an additional 45 days with notice). You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights under their state's laws, including the right to access, correct, delete, and port personal data, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signal. If you enable GPC in your browser while visiting any Cove web properties, we will treat that as a valid opt-out request.
To exercise your rights under any state privacy law, contact hello@textcove.co. We will respond within the timeframe required by your state's law.
Appeal rights. If we decline your privacy request, you may appeal our decision by contacting hello@textcove.co with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to appeals within the timeframe required by your state's law.
Cove is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a minor is using Cove, please contact us at hello@textcove.co.
Although this service is designed for users 18 and older, if we inadvertently collect personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information immediately upon discovery in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable state and federal law. We will also notify relevant regulatory authorities as required.
Cove may reference or recommend third-party websites, services, or content during conversations. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party services or content. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party services, and we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Cove, an AI-powered text messaging service operated by Accessible Intelligence LLC ("Cove," "we," "us," or "our"). By texting Cove, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service and text STOP to opt out.
Cove is an artificial intelligence assistant that you interact with through text messages (SMS and iMessage). Cove is not a human. All responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Cove. By using the service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
By texting Cove and providing your phone number, you provide your prior express written consent to receive AI-generated text messages in response to your messages. You also consent to receive proactive messages, including scheduled reminders you request. This consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. You understand that messages are sent using automated artificial intelligence technology.
You expressly consent to Cove contacting you via text message for service-related (transactional) communications, including responses to your messages, reminders you have requested, service updates, and account-related notices. Separately, if we ever offer promotional or marketing messages, we will obtain your explicit opt-in consent before sending such messages.
You can revoke your consent at any time by texting STOP, CANCEL, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT, and we will cease all messaging to your number within 10 business days. Upon receiving any of these keywords, we will send a single confirmation message and suppress your number from all future messages. We will not re-enroll you without obtaining new, explicit consent. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Message frequency varies: you will receive one response per message you send, plus any reminders you schedule. We will not send unsolicited promotional messages.
All responses from Cove are generated by artificial intelligence. You acknowledge and agree that: Cove's responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. Cove is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, including medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice. You should not rely on Cove for decisions that could affect your health, safety, finances, or legal rights. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information provided by Cove. Cove's responses are informational only and do not constitute endorsements, recommendations, or guarantees of any product, service, business, or course of action.
Cove remembers information you share in conversation to personalize your experience over time. This includes facts about you, your preferences, and context from past conversations. You agree not to use Cove to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Cove if you violate these Terms.
Sensitive Information. Cove is not designed to receive or store sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, payment card information, health insurance information, or government-issued identification numbers. You acknowledge that you provide any such information at your own risk, and we disclaim any liability arising from your sharing of sensitive information through the service.
Cove and its underlying technology, branding, and content are owned by Accessible Intelligence LLC. You retain ownership of the content you send to Cove. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your messages as necessary to provide and improve the service.
Due to the nature of artificial intelligence, Cove's responses may not be unique across users, and the service may generate the same or similar output for different users. You should not rely on the uniqueness of any AI-generated content.
We may collect and use diagnostic, technical, and usage data related to your use of the service in aggregated and de-identified form for analytics, service improvement, and development purposes.
Feedback. To the extent you provide us any suggestions, recommendations, or other feedback relating to the service, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, fully paid, royalty-free right to use such feedback in any manner and for any purpose without compensation or attribution to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Accessible Intelligence LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Cove, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content, loss of data, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Cove shall not exceed $100.
Cove is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Accessible Intelligence LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of Cove in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using Cove at any time by texting STOP. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Texting STOP will cease all messaging but will not automatically delete your stored data (conversation history, memory facts, reminders). To request deletion of your data, email hello@textcove.co and we will process your request within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via text message. Continued use of Cove after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
The service may contain links to or references to third-party websites, services, or content. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party services or content. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to that third party's terms and privacy policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of the Dispute Resolution section below.
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT REQUIRES YOU TO ARBITRATE DISPUTES AND LIMITS THE MANNER IN WHICH YOU MAY SEEK RELIEF.
Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first contact us at hello@textcove.co and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from these Terms or your use of Cove ("Claim") shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of a party's intellectual property rights.
Class Action/Jury Trial Waiver. BY ENTERING INTO THESE TERMS, YOU AND ACCESSIBLE INTELLIGENCE LLC ARE EACH WAIVING THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY OR TO BRING, JOIN, OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION, OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING OF ANY KIND.
Opt-Out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to hello@textcove.co within 30 days of first using the service, clearly stating that you wish to opt out of binding arbitration. If you opt out, you and Accessible Intelligence LLC may still seek to resolve Claims in court.
Severability. If any part of this Dispute Resolution section is found to be unenforceable, the remainder will still apply. If the Class Action/Jury Trial Waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular Claim, that Claim will be severed and proceed in court while remaining Claims proceed in arbitration.
These Terms, and any rights and licenses granted hereunder, may not be transferred or assigned by you but may be assigned by Accessible Intelligence LLC without restriction. Any attempted transfer or assignment by you in violation hereof shall be null and void.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
